Reality bites

There are a lot of people out there who love reality TV, and a lot that hate it. And probably even more that say they hate it but are actually sneaking it like a compulsive eater with their ho-ho stash.

However you feel (or say you feel) about reality TV, there are worse things out there. If you haven't discovered the late night adult oriented cartoons, you are missing out. For your viewing pleasure, my all time favorite Robot Chicken episode.

Hilarious (and wrong) on so many levels.

I am now going back to nursing my headache with loads of booze.

  2. Oh, you have to. It makes fun of childhood girl toys. And Michael Moore. And smoking. And damn near anything you can think of.

  6. Jeanne - yes! I left you a comment. Dammit. RC is the best 15 minutes of my week most times.

Chef E - Around here I think it's the 30 degree temperature drop. Always seems to throw me for a loop.

  7. I love that Adult Swim stuff. Quirky and edgy is right up my alley. Reality TV however, not so much. I'll catch a show here and there, but for the most part, avoid them all. But I think it's probably because I know if I started watching something, I'd be hooked. Hooked! What with all the time I waste noodling around on the internet, I can't afford another addiction!

  8. I love booze too and am jealous of your blog title. Unfortunately I was a new mom and not drunk when I came up with my blog title. Damn circumstance.

  9. FYI: I have no idea who you are, but I respect your comments. You are obviously close to the source. When the blanket of alcohol covers me,(right now) I always slip into REM and wish I could wax poetic about how Jeanne is like a meteor that hit Earth, next door to me, and I was blind to the impact.

  12. WTF? I can watch Robot Chicken on tv but I can't watch a video on their site because I'm not in the US? Haters!

  13. Captain Dumbass - that does suck. I'm going to send them a nasty letter on behalf of Canadians everywhere. I'm sure Seth will do something to correct this atrocity!

  14. I'm not sure when all of this blurry-edged adult humour started showing up on our late night TV..but the undercurrent is gaining momentum.

Obviously the Censors will soon be out of a job when Broadcast TV finally chokes to death on it's own vomit in the next decade. The interwebs are gonna kick their ass so bad..and they know it. The halcyon days of Madison Avenue throwing suitcases of money at them for eyeballs is pretty much over. Aside from the Dinosaur demographic who is going to watch?

It is so bad now that all they do is produce reality crapola because it is cheap...all the dramas are now being peddled straight to HBO and their ilk. It is weird how the CEO's still think that it's the 50s..I guess none of them got the memo on what happened to AM radio.
